Little man Luie absolutely loves trains.  He loves to see them, he loves to hear them whistle, and he even loves just walking on train tracks.  So when we told him we were going to visit an old train engine, he was beyond excited. “Oh yes! That’s on my happy list!” He said.  Well, we can’t pass up a chance to do something on a happy list!

This is the Ocean to Ocean Highway bridge.  It is near the South Pacific Engine, so we walked over to get another look as the sun was setting.  This bridge is a landmark in Yuma.  It was the first and only bridge over the  lower Colorado River for 1200 miles.  It joined the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans by highway.
