Torrox claims to have the best climate in Europe.  There are tropical trees, flowers, avocado trees, mango trees, citrus trees, and olives trees.  Beautiful!

Like most of the coast, this is a touristy area.  Here we are walking along the sea walk.  There are still restaurants and tapas bars open, even though it is low season.  We have met a lot of people from Great Britain here for the winter.

We walked down to the beach on another day and did a treasure hunt as we walked.  This time I remembered to take pictures.  Dave found several colorful scallop shells.  Luie found lots of rocks and shell pieces.  Summer found some special rocks and whole muscle shells.  Any day on the beach is a good day!

Check out this mango tree, so heavy with mangos.  What a wonderful place!

  1. Wow those are big mangos! You know, you all look so relaxed! How good for you. 🙂 I think I would like this area by the beach.
