Tapas are served all over Spain.  They are like small bites, finger foods, or as my dad would say “tasty little morsels.”  The variety of tapas is limitless, they can be meats, cheeses, olives, and other combined foods.  We found this tiny little restaurant that advertised vegetarian tapas.  This is rare in Spain where pork and seafood are much loved.

The spread for the baguette was a creamy garlic treat.  We all loved it.

Everything was delicious and we had a great time tasting so many different foods.  Starting at the bottom and moving clockwise, was a beet apple salad, then a wrap with homemade cream cheese and pimento, couscous salad with mint and other herbs, stir fry veggies, goat cheese with a honey glaze and walnuts, and in the middle, potatoes with a type of salsa.  I also loved the little dishes and there are many stores that sell beautifully decorated pottery.  So I am thinking about getting some little bowls and having our own little Spanish tapas style Thanksgiving.
