We were thrilled to have the opportunity to visit family while we were traveling through France.  We spent many happy days climbing mountains, playing ping pong, going to the beach, playing cards, playing dominoes, walking, exploring, laughing, and eating wonderful food made by Marthe.  There is something a bit magical that happens when you connect with extended family.  Our family is so spread out that we don’t often get to see them, so it was a special time.  And the kids were completely overjoyed to spend time with their cousins.

  1. We love spending time watching your fun together. It was good to see Roxanne again too. How is Luie’s French coming along? I imagine Summer is picking up on it too. We particularly fascinated with Ben’s gliding. Dave, you did some very good footage. the shot with the dark clouds behind the glider was too perfect! Does Ben ever have a concern about oxygen? Keep on having fun.

    1. We are still trying to learn French, and our vocabulary is a bit limited. As we are forced to use it we get slowly better. Luie is picking up a bit also. The paragliders don’t seem to have concerns with oxygen, and just take a running leap off the mountain as if it is nothing. The sport is very common over here, and we see gliders in the sky frequently. I would enjoy trying it sometime. It was fun taking some video of my nephew flying, and the clouds were mostly cooperative so we could keep watching him. Hope all is going well for you guys.
