Beach time at San Polo Camping, Croatia

We love everything about the beach, and are fortunate to be camped close enough to see and hear the waves.  Even though the weather is starting to get cooler, we still try to get to the beach at least for a while each day.

The beach here is all rock, but that just gives us opportunity to build rock towers.  Luie really enjoys doing this, and has many structures standing along the shores.

Summer enjoys swimming and relaxing more.

Nancy and I most enjoy the relaxing part.  Foam mats are perfect here to make the beach comfortable.  The first few days I just laid down on the rocks, which was a bit uncomfortable.  These mats changed everything.

Luie loves to jump, and tends to jump whether he is walking or just standing around.  Nancy decided to take a photo series of him jumping for joy on the beach.  It looks like the boy has a bit of surfer in him.

The water was so clear that I broke out the underwater camera for a few photos.  Luie was fairly proud of his sea cucumber find.

Summer and Luie were able to pose with a jellyfish that happened to be swimming by.

We also put together a video of the jellyfish, along with some fun on the water trampoline.
